birds...

4:13. That is when the first Robin starts chirping. With a soft rainfall on a warm morning the sound of a Robin singing is quite soothing. Night shifts become all the more pleasant when a Robin greets you in the early morning hours.

Todd,
When I did midnights I always used to ask God to send me a bird - I had to put the garbage and the compost etc. out in the morning. He would always send a cardinal or a blue jay or a chickadee or something - they were a beautiful expression of His amazing faithfulness.
